I loved it! It was fun, enjoyable, and mysterious! It was everything I hope for in a cozy mystery. Tonya Kappes' gift of quirkiness really shined in this book, which made it even better! Willow, Holly's pet pig is a fine example of how much fun a person can expect to have with a Tonya Kappes book. There is such a great balance between the parts that have you on the edge of your seat, and the parts that have you laughing out loud. If you are looking for something fun to read, definitely give this one a chance. The characters and the story are really great!

The story line is great, and you just love Kappe's quirky characters. This is the first of her books I've read. I'll give her another chance if the books are free, only because little things like grammar and misusage are a major peeve of mine. I'm not sure if she is self published, but even so, please use beta readers and editors. Please learn that its a steering wheel, not a stirring wheel. That champagne is served in a flute, not a fluke ... and please please please learn the difference in the use of to and too.

Tonya Kappes has created a goofy group of women who call themselves Divorced Divas. Holly, owner of The Beaded Dragonfly, has been setup by an unknown murderer who left a dead body in her shop. Holly knows she can depend on her fellow Divas to help her discover who's trying to frame her for the murder.

Most people I know have pet dogs or cats. Holly has Willow a pet pig. Reading about Willow had me laughing and convinced me to never own a pig.

This is a clean mystery without graphic language, sex or violence. My overall impression of the book was positive. My one complaint is poor editing. There are words left out that had me rereading sentences to figure out what was being said. In other examples the wrong words are used, i.e. footprints being heard instead of footsteps.

This book tells you how to do beading, which certainly sounds like fun. The author was able to include the beads in the clues to the mystery, and it all came together to make a great way to pass a lazy afternoon.
