I was interested in cryptocurrencies a few years ago and didn't even crack the cover on a book I got then.
THIS book is the one you want with short, to-the-point explanations starting from where money came from, not only in how it's dealt with in the U.S. but also how it governs other countries. That's the primer at the start of the book which is wonderful so you can at least grasp how money has evolved and became controlled.
Then you get to the other sections that go into the workings behind the crypto coins, where they came from, and WHY. Again, in simple terms. You need to understand the workings of money and currency first, why fiat currency is draconian, and why the future will be more streamlined and PROTECTED FROM FRAUD with cryptocurrency. You need to understand this before you go investing your life savings into ANY bank, stock, or precious metal, as well as cryptocurrency.
This is NOT a huge book full of technical jargon, and it's a pleasure to read - as if you're talking to the author over coffee. I really commend him for taking this subject and making it easily digestible...and it's my compliment to a very pricey course my husband and I invested in. My notes from that will be inserted into THIS book.
No one has the exact formula but, with this book, you can get what you need to know in an afternoon so you understand what the heck you're doing - and WHY it makes sense to invest in cryptocurrency. I mean, do you want to be a part of a better financially-running country tomorrow? Aren't we all tired of the 'overlords' who control our money? The how and why is right here in this book....and it is THE book I am recommending to others who want to dip their toes into cryptocurrency waters. GET IT.
