A millennium ago seven gods, called the Borrai, walked among the people of Garran. They tamed the beasts, as they tamed the wind and the fiery mountains, by the use of god-stones.
In those days, the people prospered. Then invaders came from the sky and killed the gods–destroying all who opposed them.
Now, the tribesmen of Garran must revive the ancient powers of the Borrai to fight an oppressive and advanced alien race–or live as slaves.
