Handsome pagan Viking Flane buys pretty young Christian Emer for a few pieces of silver in the Dublin slave market, claiming she’ll do well as his bed slave.
But Flane is already promised to beautiful, spoilt Katla, the chieftain’s daughter, and she is not about to accept Flane’s purchase without a struggle. Soon Emer is running for her life through the unknown territory of the north-west highlands of Scotland.
